In this article, I would like to present a vintage russian dive watch. The Vostok Amphibian. This watch is the original Vostok Amphibian from 1967. 


A mechanical hand-winding watch, with central second hand, precision mechanical hand-winding movement, waterproof 200 meters, stainless steel case and rubber band.

With a watch case with 38 mm diameter and 47 mm in length, with a radial brushed finish in the top and mirror polished on the sides.

The bezel is bidirectional. With plexyglass in the crystal. The crown is a screw.

OPINION                                                          

In this article, I would like to present another hommage to Rolex submariner. In this case, is a Schwarz Etienne Automatic Professional 200 m. Swiss made watch. All stainless steel. An automatic watch, with central second hand, precision automatic swiss movement ETA 2824-2 with 25 jewels, waterproof 200 meters, stainless steel case and stainless steel bracelet, saphire crystal. Screw crown. Screw case-back.

With a watch case with 39 mm diameter and 48 mm lug to lug. With a brushed finish in the top and mirror polished on the sides.

The bezel in stainless steel and black insert, unidirectional, 120 clicks (two every two minutes) and bright point in the index.


The crystal is in saphire with an external loupe.

The crown is customized with the "SE" Schwartz Etienne initials and of course is a screw.

Complete the watch with a stainless steel band with a deployant clasp.

The black dial with luminous index.

This is another AQUASTAR watch. In this case branded Jean Richard. This watch have bidirectional external bezel, 10 atm waterproof, all stainless steel case. Screw case back. This watch don't have screw crown.  With a TROPYC rubber strap, this watch looks perfect.

OPINION                                                          

In this article, I would like to present a russian dive watch. The Vostok Amphibia 1967, reference 2415/190476. This watch is a hommage to Vostok Amphibia from 1967. An automatic watch, with central second hand, precision automatic movement with 31 jewels (2415), waterproof 200 meters, stainless steel case and stainless steel bracelet, shock resistant balance, average daily rate at temperature 20±5С°:10 to 30 seconds, totally wound watch run not less than 31 hrs.

This watch is produced in a limited serial of 1967 units.

In early 2008 Vostok decide to produce a hommage of the classic limited to 1967 units, the quality is higher than that of the typical products of the brand and will take more care to detail.

With a watch case like a vintage divers, with 42 mm diameter and 50 mm in length, with a radial brushed finish in the top and mirror polished on the sides.

The bezel in stainless steel, unidirectional, 90 clicks (three every two minutes) and bright point in the index.


The mineral glass is curved, following the curve of the bezel.

The crown is customized with the "b", in russian "Boctok", and of course is a screw.

Complete the watch with a stainless steel band with a vintage design.

The dial with luminous index.

OPINION                                                          

This type of watch band, I love how they look in diver's watches big size.



Although it is stainless steel belts, straps are very comfortable. Feel great.


I put mesh band in my Ocean7, Aquastar and Seiko Scuba dive watch.


I would you recommend to try to buy one of this watch bands. I'm sure that you like it and enjoy it in yours wrists.

OPINION                                                          

This is another AQUASTAR watch. AQUASTAR is a brand located in geneva, switzerland. 


I like this brand due to manufacturing in the 70's diver watches with a powerful aesthetic, with internal rotating bezel with the crown and watches dedicated to the regattas.


Personally I think it's a great brand of dive watches. With exceptional quality.


Currently the brand only produce quartz watches.


Personally, I like to put a rubber strapwhich imitates natural rubber straps of the 70 known as TROPYC.


There would be better with a genuine belt TROPYC of the 70.

OPINION

The Omega Seamaster Professional is one of my favorite watches.

Part of my top ten favorite watches.

This watch has a special story for me. My father gave it to me in August 2001, days before he died. It's a great memory I have of my father.

It's a very nice watch to wear. It has a great readability of the dial. To be an stainless steel watch is a watch very light and very comfortable on the wrist.

Water resistant to 300 meters. With helium escape valve located at 10 hours.

It has unidirectional bezel, screw down crown, screw case back with a nice engraving of seahorse of Omega Seamaster.

Automatic precision movement, certified chronometer by the COSC.

And we must not forget that James Bond's watch...
