:: ORIS 7500 AUTOMATIC ::

OPINION

This watch that I present in this article is an ORIS. Specifically is the model ORIS 7500. It's a watch with a fantastic presence. Stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, rubber strap type racing. ORIS Automatic movement caliber 635 with 25 jewels.

Oris caliber 635 movement is based on the well-known ETA 2836-2:

Personally, ORIS brand is one of my favorite brands. Their watches have a special character. Watches with pointer calendar.

Watches with oversized crown for aviation pilots can synchronize their watches without removing their gloves:

Professional diver watches.

Sports chronographs.

ORIS Watch 7500 is peculiar in the indication of the day and date on a frame at 12 and 6 as well.

The crown also has a notable presence. Has a size of 4 mm in height.

    :: KANDER 5 ATM ::

    OPINION

    I would like to present another rare diver watch brand from 70's. This is a hand-winding KANDER Calendar 21 jewels 5 atm.

    Kander was established in the 60s, the production site was based in Frutigen (Switzerland). The company went bankrupt early in the 80s. The sign refers to the 2 mountains "Altels" and "Balmhorn".

    The KANDER is another watch from 70's inspired in the icon of dive watch OMEGA SEAMASTER 300. The dial have different colour, pearl grey, but it have the same numbers and luminous marks. Also it have the date window at 3 h with a loupe in the plexyglass crystal.

    This KANDER watch have a bi-directional bezel in soft blue.

    The crown is not screw.

    This watch do not have an stainless steel case. Only the back is in stainless steel and screwed. The watch-case diameter without crown is 37 mm and with crown 40 mm.

    Swiss made movement. Mechanical. Hand-winding. 21 jewels.
