OPINION                                                          

I want to present a diver watch a small watchmaker called ORSA WATCH. 

The ORSA WATCH owner, Martin Berg, is a watch enthusiast and his watch company was more a hobby to him.

This watch has a great presence with a case diameter of 45 mm.

This diver watch is dedicated to a very particular type of fish, the SEA ANGLER, a fish that lives in the sea at great depths.

 

The watch is ready to support 300 meters deep. It has a unidirectional bezel with 120 clicks of high quality.

The ORSA SEA ANGLER mounts a Chinese Seagull ST2130 movement, Swiss movement ETA clone. I think it would have been perfect mount an original ETA caliber or automatic MIYOTA movement.

OPINION                                                          

Before expressing my opinion of this KRONOS diver watch, I would like to introduce this brand of watches created in Barcelona.

Kronos was founded in 1930 by Carlos Vendrell. He was an enterprising merchant from Barcelona with a long family tradition in watchmaking that began in the nineteenth century.  

His technical and commercial expertise led him to undertake the huge challenge of creating his own watch brand. He started producing clock collections made by hand in his own workshops. Thanks to trade agreements with Swiss and German manufacturers, they provided him with machinery.

Carlos Vendrell´s vision for the future also led him to develop numerous mechanical pocket watches and wristwatch collections, which were not in common use at that time.
A short time after, outstanding agreements with leading Swiss industries strengthened the Kronos brand in the market. Swiss industries began to produce watches following the instructions of Carlos Vendrell.These agreements strengthened Kronos and Luis Vendrell, the son of Carlos Vendrell, took over the expansion of the family business.

His objectives were very clear: that Kronos would always be a brand with its own personality and character, well-known for producing very special watches recognised for their touch of exclusivity and originality, avoiding any idea of mass production. 
These principles remain in force today and continue to inspire new generations in the 21st century.

This watch is a K300 Kronos. It is a professional dive watch. Water resistant to 330 m. Manufactured in Switzerland. Stainless steel case. Sapphire Crystal. Unidirectional rotating bezel. Crown screw. Caseback screw. With helium valve at 10 o'clock. Stainless steel strap.

This watch has a great presence on the wrist. It has a diameter of 42 mm without the crown. With a thickness of 13 mm.

This Kronos K300 has a strong resemblance to the black OMEGA seamaster professional 300.

Similar black bezel. Identical helium valve, protected screw crown, black dial, similar logo and brand name position in the dial.

I prefer believe that this Kronos K300 is a homage to OMEGA Seamaster professional. In fact, I think is a well homage and with a very competitive price. The official price of this watch, around 450 Euros.

OPINION                                                          

This watch is a reissue of the legendary model produced by Longines in the 60s, the LONGINES LEGEND DIVER, to be one watches first models with a case supercompressor for improve hermetism. This model respects aesthetically to the original model.

From the collection Longines "Heritage", has become a bestseller in a short time and in a reference model for all fans.

The legend diver comes in a beautifully polished 42mm diameter stainless steel case. the thickness of the piece is 13.5mm. the strap on this piece is a non original brown leather strap.

The movement in this watch is what longines calls its’ caliber L633, which is just a modified ETA 2824-2 self-winding movement. power reserve is roughly 38 hours and water resistance is to 300 meters.


I put the Longines Legend Diver in my watch collection top ten. This watch have a classical aspect and same time looks sportive.

I have changed the black original strap for another in brown leather from HIRSCH brand. I think this watch with black dial looks better with brown strap.

I would like to present a rare brand from 70's. This is a DUKE AUTOMATIC diver watch. This model watch belongs to a rare brand. Stainless steel case. Waterproof.

This DUKE is a Compressor diver watch. Blue dial. Internal bezel. 2 crowns non screwed. The crown at 2:00 moves the internal bidirectional bezel. The crown at 4:00 have the winding and the hands movement.

With a watch case with 40 mm diameter without crown, 45 mm with crown, and 43 mm in length, with a mirror polished finish in the top, back, and on the sides.

The bezel is internal and bidirectional. With plexyglass in the crystal. The crowns are not screwed.

Automatic movement.
